We were very happy to be at Mountain Ranch convention last week! God is so faithful. We received so much. After convention Tim went to Bakersfield, CA and I came home to Brookings, OR. Tim looked for apartments/houses to rent on Monday. On Tuesday @ 6am he reported to the PG&E yard in Bakersfield and was in San Ramon, CA by 1:30. He will be going through 7 weeks of training w/ PG&E in San Ramon/Livermore. I'm so proud of him and all his hard work and keeping his chin up. Competition is just a little tough lol, there were 5k applicants for the position he is in today. So, just a little update =) Changes seem to come daily but the next big change should be in July.

We had our Anniversary pictures taken last Sunday! I really wanted them taken at the ocean, the weather & lighting was perfect (wind was not!) We have a few at the ocean and then tons more by the Chetco River and a beautiful creek! I will load our favorites once I get to edit them this weekend =) Hope you all are having a great week!

Exciting news!!!!
Tim applied for So Cal-Edison (Edison is a international power company) a few weeks ago. Two weeks ago he got a email inviting him to come test. Thursday he tested down in San Bernardino....he got results back this afternoon....HE PASSED! His application and resume are being forwarded for further review! They have 15 job openings in Southern CA! So-we wait patiently now and see! Although it is the city (we are kind of country bumpkins) if he does get a position we will probably be there for 3 years! Versus contracting businesses you are usually moving every 6 months or so! After the 3 years (apprenticeship) he can apply for other jobs (locations) w/ Edison or basically any other power company. Edison is very picky about who they hire and are also very good to their employees =) So....=) wait and see =)

Coming weekend!!!!
This coming weekend I'm heading to Oroville to see Tim!!! I hope this week goes by fast and that the weekend just takes its good ol' time =) We are hoping Tim's sister, Heidi and my brothers will get to come too! On Saturday we plan to go to the mall, spend time with some of my cousins and go to a meeting that Jacquie Meeks and Karen Flood are having for the Chico and Oroville fields! Today marks 39 more days till Tim graduates from Lineman College! Excited for this weekend!

Tim's Golden Birthday =)
Tim was home for the weekend and his golden birthday! =) We went bowling and had a wonderful dinner up at Mom & Dad Moore's Saturday evening. I also have a picture from the previous weekend at Mom & Dad George's home with birthday boy and girl (Tim & Grandma) =)
