Tim passed his final test today! He has driven to Bakersfield and reports to his yard tomorrow! I'm so proud of him & his hard work! Also, Tim was in Bakersfield this past weekend and we have a lease pending! It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, quiet neighborhood, new paint, ceiling fans in each room, nice home =) I'm giving my 2 week resignation at work tomorrow. My last all employee meeting speech will be Thursday. The count down begins! Hope everyone is having a great week!

All coming 2gether =D
Everything is coming together for our big move =) I'll tell more soon but most importantly, this weekend I get to see: TIM, my sista & her fam, my parents, G-ma Grow and many cousins and friends! I'm so happy! Many I haven't spent time w/ in a long while! Tim completes training on July 12th in San Ramon and then he reports to work in Bakersfield on July 13th! I sent our notice to the landlords yesterday-eek! I'm collecting strong boxes from the produce department at our local store. I have the U-Haul trailer reserved, yes we are going to get everything in my car, Tim's parents SUV and a 12x6x5.5 trailer =) I've been consolidating for months! The carpet cleaner is reserved and I got info on how to close/fwd my PO Box and get the electric out of our name =) Tim will be staying w/ some of the friends and have a place lined up for us when we come down w/ our belongings =) We will complete our journey south on July 29th! I'm so very excited for this new chapter! Happy 4th of July weekend! ~Hugs

Father's Day
There is nothing like going through experiences yourself that makes you realize/thankful for all your parents did/do for you (I have many more to come considering I don't even have kids.) Happy Father's day! I love you Dad!

Clearing the hurtles
Tim had a big week in training last week and did great! They started training w/ 25 guys in their group, they are now down to 20. Everyone passed the written test on which they had to get at least 92%. Later in the week they learned how to climb the PG&E way and were again evaluated. The PG&E way is: heels must remain 4-6 inches apart at all times, each step must be 4-6 inches, before you take a step your other leg must be completely straight, along w/ some other mandatory steps that I don't understand yet. =) It was so good to have my honey home! Heidi's graduation was very nice! Also Cubby, Seanna & Clayson came and stayed w/ us! We had a wonderful weekend!

long time no post.....
We were very happy to be at Mountain Ranch convention last week! God is so faithful. We received so much. After convention Tim went to Bakersfield, CA and I came home to Brookings, OR. Tim looked for apartments/houses to rent on Monday. On Tuesday @ 6am he reported to the PG&E yard in Bakersfield and was in San Ramon, CA by 1:30. He will be going through 7 weeks of training w/ PG&E in San Ramon/Livermore. I'm so proud of him and all his hard work and keeping his chin up. Competition is just a little tough lol, there were 5k applicants for the position he is in today. So, just a little update =) Changes seem to come daily but the next big change should be in July.
