32 weeks!

Baby Girl is moving all over the place these days!  She continues to respond to voices, especially Tim & I's.  And her latest development is playing tag w/ her foot and our hands!   Cubby, Seanna and Clayson are here for Buttonwillow 1 convention!  Seanna and I plan to get some pictures together tomorrow =)  I'll try and post those before we go out to convention.  Have a great evening!  Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl

I do so much better....

when my hubby is home!!!!   Tim has been working out of town this month (home on the weekends~thankfully.)  Today we had a very productive day together!  Tim & I did my morning walk this morning.  Then started painting Baby Girl's room!!!

 Cutting in  =)
Glad he is home (for so many reasons, not just because he is a great painter!)
I've decorated wooden letters that will spell out Baby Girl's name on the
banner in about 2 months!
We let the cutting in & first coat dry.  Ate a healthy lunch & went into town to run some errands.
Second coat on!  Its a bit hard to truly see the yellow in this pic w/ the sun coming in the window.
You can really see the cheery yellow here! We love how it turned out!
Laundry is done, Tim worked on the bird problem some more, one bathroom clean, car and truck vacuumed and the back patios hosed off!
Tomorrow is our last Gospel Meeting, because convention starts this week!!!  Cubby, Seanna & Clayson will be coming Monday!  Tim has testing in Livermore Wednesday and Thursday but he has Friday off!  Jon and Caity will be here for convention too!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  Looking forward to a wonderful new week ahead!
Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl

Doc Apt.

Well my blood pressure was good haha just kidding!  It still is good but I was told my weight gain is a bit on the high side.  Doc told me to exercise 20-30 min every day, keeping my heart beat 140 or lower.  I need to get a set schedule and stick to it, it is just hard w/ all we  have going on.  But my weight is important for me & Baby Girl!  The Doc liked Baby Girl's kick count graph, she is very active!  Her heart beat was "in the 130s."  Doc also went through the Birth Plan (Tim & I created) w/ me discussed options/situations, hospital rules, etc.  So he now has a copy and I'll give a copy to my nurse at the hospital.  So, overall ~all is great!  Have a wonderful evening!  Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl

Baby Girl's 31st week

Baby Girl is now 31 weeks young!  She is really getting in her kicks & jabs!  Last night I counted her 10 kicks in about 3 minutes!  We had a wonderful weekend!  Saturday was a work day at Buttonwillow Preps!  Jon & Caity came and stayed w/ us and Craig Jacobson came Saturday evening and we got to learn some about the work in Mexico!  Sunday morning there were about 45 in our little meeting!  And we once again enjoyed four speakers at Gospel Meeting!  Sunday evening before Tim left we went and got frozen yogurt together, sweet time together!  Baby Girl loved the frozen yogurt and was jumping all over the place as Daddy told her bye for the week!  So precious!  I have a doc appointment at 2 today, I'll try and post again tonight w/ details.  Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl

A funny dream

Last night I had the funniest dream that keeps making me laugh! I walked into our bedroom and my two bros were sitting on our bed eating messy food (ribs, cheesy macaroni, etc) and using our white sheets as napkins =D LOL They were so chill and didn't get why I was upset LOL

30 weeks!

I can't hardly believe Baby Girl is already 30 weeks!  I absolutely believe she is growing like a bean!  The last few days I've been sleeping 10 hours and waking up hungry!  Baby Girl seems to remind me every time I need to eat haha, I wake up and she is moving.  Gets close to lunch, she starts moving.  And  we get into the evening and well, she starts moving =)  She is so strong now that sometimes her movements even hurt a little!  There is no denying when she is moving!  You can see my tummy moving!
We've been looking for a rocking chair for Baby Girl's feedings and comfort (and ours.)  I really wasn't liking (the price) of anything I saw.  Back in September/October, when we were new home owners and were in Home Depot at least every weekend, we had seen a wooden rocking chair and passed it up.  This past Sunday we were in Home Depot buying snail killer and trying to find a fake owl, to help us w/ our bird problem.  And I spotted THE rocking chair!  ONE sitting all alone w/ a SALE tag!  Tim and I were so happy and there was no passing it up this time!  Another check on the long to do list!  This morning I sat in our rocking chair w/ my Baby Girl, Bible, coffee and a blanket w/ the sun shinning in behind me.  I love these quiet moments of complete peace/rest in my heart and soul.  I believe Tim, Baby Girl and I will make many precious memories in this rocking chair.
We are getting close to Baby Girl's arrival!  Before she comes we have the privilege of Convention Preps & company, Convention & company and Donovan & Kayla's wedding in Texas!  Very special days!
Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl

29 weeks!

Baby Girl is almost 2 and a half pounds (right where she is supposed to be!) She is measuring a week ahead in her length! Heart beat was 143! She was talking, I got to see her profile and her little nostrils! I think she has Tim's nose =) She is head down YAY! So thankful for baby's good health and mine!  I have a video of today's ultrasound on my phone....I'm having trouble getting it onto the computer.  I'll upload it as soon as I get it =)  Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl

28 weeks & my fears

Baby Girl is 28 weeks today!!!  She is getting so strong!  We love to feel/see her move!  We feel so blessed to have a healthy baby!  The other night, Tim was talking to her and he said her name & she moved right up to his voice!  So amazing & precious!  I love soaking up these moments!  This is why we only want a few of Tim & I's close family members here after birth.  So our home is quiet, peaceful, with no distractions & we can soak up many more amazing, precious moments.  Tim is working in Fresno, so no picture today.  My cousin Kara & another Sister worker will be here tomorrow evening & I'm sure Kara will take a picture for us!  We are excited to have them here!

I've had some fears the last few weeks, I thought maybe if I wrote them out it would help.   My biggest fear is not what having a baby will do to my body but what the hospital/OB will do to me & my Baby Girl.  I've been told by my OB to leave for the hospital when my contractions are five minutes apart for over an hour (it takes about 40 min. to drive to the hospital) or of course if my water breaks I'm to call and tell them what is happening.  Honestly, I feel this will get us to the hospital too early, we will be there taking up a room/nurse, they are a business and they are going to try & speed the process up (80% of the time end result no matter the first kind of intervention ends in a C Section.)  I  really want to be home (my comfort zone) stay away from the hospital as long as possible & after birth only be there the required 24 hours (hospital policy.)  The more I learn about hospitals/OB Docs/insurance....I DO VALUE THEM but I also see how I (& baby) just become a number (a procedure) and they want to hurry us up and get to the next one.  A C Section is quicker & less liability for OB/hospital than a natural birth.  The C Section rate in the USA has skyrocketed and yet our death rate (mom or child) has not decreased.  All other major countries have found that natural birth is the best and their C Section rates have decreased.  Is it because in the USA we are all about time/being quick and not necessarily about the experience?  Interventions/C Sections are better for the hospital/OB/maybe insurance but shouldn't it be about the Mother & Baby?  Time/money vs. life/the experience.  I've been educating myself, I'm not just talking to one person or grabbing this information out of thin air =)  My Mom did really good through birth and labor w/ us kids.  I'm really hoping I have inherited these genes from her!  I know my Mom stayed active during her pregnancies and she has a high pain tolerance.  Her midwife told her to stay home till she couldn't walk through a contraction.  I've been staying somewhat active, I keep having setbacks (colds & lower back pain.)  I feel like I'm kind of fighting a loosing battle.  I fear not staying active & not being strong enough to have Baby Girl.  But I know I can't just keep active when the back pain is so strong it is shooting down my legs & I feel like my back is going to give out or when I'm just exhausted.  I know me & Baby Girl need rest too.  I'm going to a chiropractor that specializes in working w/ pregnant women.  He has been impressed w/ my alignment, flexibility, relaxation & activity...until this last appointment.  He asked me if I was still being active.  So, my goals are to eat healthy, exercise and learn more how to relax.  I know all of these will help me to have a good/better labor & birth.  Life is all about balance isn't it?  Hugs, Tim, Brennan & Baby Girl Moore
